Leadership Coaching
”Suzan was my excellent coach during TaxBit's hockey stick growth from seed to unicorn stage. I've learned so much from her, and I know you will too."
Michelle O’Connor, VP Global Brand and Market Expansion, Taxbit
After coaching org leaders have…
Feedback loops and rubrics to assess how they’re doing
An understanding of how to work and influence across the org
A plan to continue their development as a leader
More confidence operating as an org leader
More capacity to lead through change
”I worked with Suzan after joining an executive team for the first time. I learned so much. She helped me really understand my values as a leader and how to work within them. We worked on leadership styles and adaptability when working with others. These skills continue to be valuable. If you get an option to work with her, do it.”
Mike Stahnke, VP Engineering, Flox
Constellary Coach Approach
Constellary is coach-led and operator-informed.
Our founder and coach, Suzan Bond is a former COO and experienced and trained leadership coach with more than 15 years of experience. We lead with a coach approach which means we prioritize questions over telling, create a container so you can develop your own leadership style and focus on where you want to go.
We don’t believe there’s ONE right way to be a leader. That means we’ll never try to mold you into something you’re not or help you try to have “executive presence.” We’re more interested in guiding you to your natural way of leading and understanding the kind of situations where you can be your best.
We also know that as leader it’s sometimes it’s hard to know what’s a “me” issue and what’s an organizational issue. Given our founder experience as a COO, Head of People and org development, we blend feedback and offer our perspective when it’s helpful, particularly when it comes to organizational leadership.
We believe that coaching works best when there’s a chemistry and a shared understanding between the two people in the relationship. Finding the right fit is essential. Before embarking on a coaching relationship, we’ll start with an introductory call so you can share more about your situation to see if we can help and we can get to know each other to see if we’re a match.
Want to see if we’re a fit?
”Suzan helped me scale my leadership as the company grew from 20 to 100.
I highly recommend Suzan as a coach for any startup leader moving through rapid phases of company growth.”
Edwina Johnson, COO, Alloy

What is the difference between career coaching and leadership coaching?
Career coaching is typically focused on the activities to get a new role. A career coach can help you get clarity on what you want, how to position yourself (resume, social media, etc), how to talk about yourself in interviews and negotiating an offer. Constellary does not offer career coaching.
Leadership coaching or exec coaching as it’s often called, can mean many things. At Constellary, we define leadership coaching as a partnership between the coach and leader to achieve a goal. Our coaching focuses on organizational leaders who generally start at the director or head of level, first team is outside of functional unit, think about a variety of stakeholders outside the functional unit and aligns people across org lines towards larger objectives. Most of the org leaders we work with are at early, growing or scaling startups.
